Activate LiveMark FamilyHow to proceed to activate your software?To activate the software, enter the license code you have received by e-mail, in “Tools-> Advanced Options-> License Code Management”. As long as your license is valid, you will be able to activate the software this way, so that in case of reinstallation of your system, the only thing you will have to do is download and activate it again with your code. LiveMark Family’s licenseHow can I receive a license code ?If you pay by credit card or by Paypal, your order will be validated immediately. Once the payment is validated by the bank, you will receive an e-mail containing your license code and your payment’s confirmation. If you pay by cheque, we will send you your license code by e-mail as soon as we have received your payment. How long do I have to wait to receive a license code ?95% of the e-mails come within 5 minutes following the commands’ validation but we can’t control the transmission delays, which change depending on your access provider. If, 24 hours after your command has been validated, you still haven’t received your license code , please contact us. Where is my license code ?You have received or will receive an e-mail containing your license code and your payment’s confirmation. Print this e-mail to keep the license code in case of future reinstallation. To activate LiveMark Family, you will only have to enter your license code into the software . When I enter the license code sent by e-mail, the text “invalid license code” displays.If this text appears, it can be for one of these reasons :
To check your LiveMark version: open LiveMark’s console and go to the “Tools-> About LiveMark Family” menu. A window mentioning your version will display. If this version is inferior to 1.0.3, please uninstall your current version, download and install the last version available on our website. Filtering problemsI think I am not filtered.If you own a LiveMark version superior to 1.2, go to the filtering test page to check out your filtering’ state. If not, check out that you have really activated the software with a license after its installation, and consult the help available above. When I look for words like “sexuality”, “xx videos”, the results page displays all the same. Is that normal?LiveMark is the only parental control software which is able to determine cleverly if a webpage is to be filtered or not. In this way, if your result page is not totally pornographic (for example, there could be links towards sexual education, videos from the 20th century…), LiveMark will let it appear. But it will block all the websites, which are really necessary to filter, mentioned in this page if you open them. Does LiveMark block popups?If the popup has the type of contents which is forbidden to children, LiveMark will filter it but won’t block it. If you wish to block popup's display, we advise you to use Firefox as a browser (you can find it at this address ). Problem under Mac OS XIs LiveMark compatible with Mac OS X?Yes LiveMark works under Mac OS X 10.4 and up. You can download it at the Download rubric.. Microsoft Messenger for Mac doesn’t work anymore.For reasons we can’t control, the Microsoft Messenger’s version for Mac OS 10 doesn’t apply its own proxy settings.
